Education International
What is ACEI?
It is a professional organization for K-12 educators, including students and professionals. In this student branch, we engage in service activities, offer professional workshops, receive the journal, have social events.... And the list goes on. Come and enjoy the excitement A.C.E.I has to offer.

ACEI's Mission
To promote and support in the global community the optimal education and development of children from infancy through early adolescence, and to influence the professional growth of educators and the efforts of others who are commited to the needs of children in a changing society.
Membership
If you're thinking about joining ACEI, there is a membership drive coming up soon giving you a low student rate and doubling the benefit to the club. Remember that you must join a professional organization before you are admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Join ACEI if you want great membership benefits plus an active on-campus organization. To apply for membership, go to acei.org and click on the Membership link. Applications are also located in the Ed/Psych office in Summerhour Hall.

A.C.E.I has a vespers planned for Nov. 16, 2007 at 7:30p. at Hidden Hills Farm, Edgmon Road, Ooltewah, TN 37363
Directions from Summerour Hall:
1. Head northeast on Industrial Dr. 0.4 mi
2. Turn right onto Apison Pike 420 ft
3. At 4-way stop sign, turn left, cross railroad tracks,
immediately bear to the right to stay on Apison Pike 0.2 mi
4. Almost immediately, turn left onto Tallant Rd.
5. At 4th road on left, turn left onto Edgmon Rd. (several miles)
Remain on Edgmon. You will see a natural wood fence on left.
Near the end of the fence, turn right onto gravel road. You will see the Hidden Hills sign. Follow the gravel road and at the split go through the right hand gate and park on the grass, at the top of the hill near the fire.
Convoctation: Nov.26 at 6:30 p.m. in Summerour Room 106. We will have a few new teachers here to talk with us about being a new teacher.
