Undergraduate programs in psychology are pre-professional
in that they are designed to introduce students to a wide knowledge
base in the field and to prepare students for further training and
education in specialized fields of psychology. The B.A. degree in
Psychology is recommended for students who desire to become psychologists
and who are planning to gain admissions into graduate programs in
specific areas of psychology. In addition, this degree is also recommended
